The Racket product team wanted a racket bag that didn’t look like a normal racket bag. This bag would tie back to their Clash racket franchise, so the colors tied back to the Clash family. The brief asked for the bag to hold three rackets, along with shoes, clothing,  and accessories. This racket bag was designed for younger consumers who  play other sports than tennis and are looking for a multi-purpose bag.

 

 

FORM

The body of the bag was designed to look more like a large duffle, rather than a racket bag. I wanted to keep the rackets concealed, rather than have the handles stick out. The main compartment can hold between three to four rackets. The side zip compartment was designed for shoes, and an exterior pocket for easy access to accessories. There are also interior accessory pockets along with a divider system to keep items separated and organized at all times, along with adjustable shoulder strap for comfort.

 

COLOR

The color of the bag was designed to match back to the racket. I color blocked the bag in grey and black with the infrared color pops through graphics and piping.
